Deschutes
Conditions on the Deschutes change at a moment's notice. One second, you may be fishing #18 caddisflies, and the next, throwing a #1/0 Stimulator. One thing, however, remains constant on the 'D'; the wind. The Deschutes are our most versatile rods-- up to the challenge of any fly and any wind! The Deschutes Series features an ultra-fast (Fast++, we like to call it) action; a stiff backbone of 57 million modulus graphite and an extremely sensitive tip.
The unique layup of the Deschutes allows each rod to cast a large range of lines and fly sizes in the hands of a capable caster! The Deschutes is designed with longbelly WF and double-taper lines in mind. If you plan to use a standard WF, consult the higher number in the rod model designation.
