Deschutes 2H

The Deschutes 2H rods are built on the same core technology as the Deschutes and Deschutes XL. During the design of the XL, we found that these rods could also be cast two-handed for extreme distance with shooting heads in the surf, off jetties, or over deep runs and pools. A 10” foregrip and a 2“ removeable rear grip (fixed 5” on 8 and 10 weights) allow for both singlehanded and double handed deliveries. So-called ‘underhand/Scandinavian’ casts will put 30‘ of T-14 airborne...followed by yards and yards of running line. We have cast these rods over 130’ in tests!
